Feedback from our Respite Workers
"Through respite I was able to develop a close personal relationship with the individual I was supporting as well as the family. I would now consider them to be friends. We spent a lot of time doing physical activity such as walking and hiking which helped improve the individual’s physical health. We also worked on developing communication skills. Respite provides an opportunity to develop professionally, diversify self, and is a great relationship building opportunity."
